Veg Biryani  


Fresh vegetables are flavoured with herbs, spices and seasoning and cooked along with aromatic basmati rice to prepare one of India's finest foods, the 'biryani', the origins of which can be traced to Nizams of Hyderabad.


Note: Do not add anything else.
This mix contains oil and salt too.
Hot Cook

Take 300 gms. of chopped vegetables, entire contents of this packet,100 gms. of plain yogurt and 3 cups (450 ml) of water in a cooking pan. Mix it well and cook for 20 minutes. Cook 300 gms. of Basmati Rice ( add salt as per taste ) separately. Spread the cooked rice on vegetables. Add cashew nuts, raisins and 2 tbs. of pure ghee on it. Cover and heat on low flame for 10 minutes.

Cooker

Take 300 gms of chopped vegetables entire contents of this packet, 100 gms. of plain yogurt and 2 cups (300 ml) of water in a cooker. Mix it well and cook for 1 whistle. Cook 300 gms (3 cups)of Basmati rice (add salt as per taste) seperately. Spread the cooked rice on the vegetables. Add cashew nuts, raisins and 2 tbs. of pure ghee. Heat on low
flame for 10 mins.
